Homestay for Exchange Students

Many students studying abroad in Japan live in apartments or dorms, and return home without ever spending time in a Japanese household. In order to create more opportunities for cultural exchange, the Niigata City International Exchange Foundation organizes a 2-day 1-night annual homestay event.  Homestays are a good way for students to experience what Japanese home life is like, and an excellent way for host families to get exposure to foreign cultures.
